See Full PDF See Full PDFThis study attempted to understand and compare consumer preferences across popular online shopping websites in India as well as across popular online purchase product categories. The pattern appeared similar for all the multi-category sites under study with Gadgets being the most popular category for the majority for their preferred website, followed by Apparel and Accessories categories. Snapdeal was seen to be equally preferred for all these three categories, however, for Flipkart and Amazon the share for Gadgets was significantly larger. Myntra and Jabong were found to be perceived as a category-specific website with more than 50% of the respondents stating them to be the preferred choice for online Apparel purchase. Similarly, Grofers and Big Basket were perceived to be largely Groceries-specific as is evident from the finding that a majority of the respondents opted for either of these two websites as their preferred choice for online purchase of Groceries.

The purpose of the study was to examine the consumer perception on different design elements of food products and to provide essential information for the companies about the consumer attraction and importance of design attributes from the consumer point of view. Buying decision of the customer is strongly based on packaging of product & its features. Nowadays people use to prefer product better packed well as a good packaging of any product ensures that the product inside the packaging is authentic. This also helps the producer to deliver the product easily and safely, also making it a promotional requisite. By examining consumer's perception it came into knowledge that the design elements of packaging that are color, graphics, packaging material and information of the product plays a main role consumer's purchase decision. Quantitative data was collected from 60 questionnaire responses and was analyzed, the results of the study revealed the importance of packaging design in consumer buying behavior. Moreover, Packaging is important element in sense of the sale promotion as well as treated one of the most important factors to influence the customer buying decisions. In today's business packaging factor has become a vital means for making items different so that it can attract attention of consumers. Packaging of food product is now an important aspect in marketing and it is now treated as most influential factors concerning consumer purchase decision at the point of purchase. Therefore, this research is conducted to study the effect of visual and verbal attributes on packaging of food in decision of purchase.

Challenge in graduate employability is to match talent to the job. As for now, employers claimed they are having difficulty in getting the right employee fits their needs. Meanwhile, the new graduates face similar problems as they are struggling to enter the workplace market. As a result is uneven employment opportunity across different industry and sectors. The purpose of this paper is to identify the perception of employers and new business graduates on employability skills that urgently needed by industry, besides to identify if there are any gaps in their perception. Two sets of questionnaires were developed to assess of employability skills; they are applied, interpersonal and 21st-century skills. 299 organizations, 607 managers, and 700 new graduates participate in this study. Meanwhile, SPSS is used to analyze the data and descriptive statistics and ANOVA is usage to answer the objectives of the study. The result shows that the perception of employers and new graduates on the main employability skills urgently required by industry has different. The finding also revealed that there is a slight gap in score mean regard to the urgency of employability skills that required by industry. The study recommended that stakeholder in this area, higher learning institution, employer, and government need to collaborate to make sure employability skill that supply by higher learning institutions through their graduates match with industry needs and job requirements.

The study was to investigate the effect of E-banking on the economic growth of Nigeria. A study of Union Bank plc in Enugu metropolis. The specific objectives include to: examine the effect of automated employee services on the rate of unemployment in Nigeria and determine the extent of internet managing of banks control on the gross domestic product (GDP) in Nigeria. The study used the survey approach. The primary sources were a personal interview and the administration of a questionnaire to the management and staff of the manufacturing firms. A population of 141 staff was used. 141 staff returned the questionnaire and accurately filled. That gave 100 percent response rate. The validity of the instrument was tested using content analysis, and the result was good. The reliability was tested using the Pearson correlation coefficient (r). It gave a reliability coefficient of 0.91 which was also good. Data were presented and analyzed using Sprint Likert Scale. The hypotheses were analyzed using f-statistics (ANOVA) tool. The findings indicated that Automated employee services have a positive effect on the rate of unemployment in Nigeria F (95, n = 141) = 902.507, P < 0.05. Internet managing of banks control has positive effect on the gross domestic product (GDP) in Nigeria F(95, n = .141) =115.383, P < 0.05. The study concluded that Electronic banking solves numerous financial problems and it has hugely boosted the Nigerian economy and that of the banking industry. The study recommended that the automated employee services should be encouraged and competent technical services staff placed in-charge to reduced duplication of tasks for effective use of computer systems into daily business operations and Government should formulate policies that will guide and protect internet control of banks for efficiency and productivity in the economy.

Thoughtful insights on business model components of top e-retailers based in India have been achieved through content analysis of reliable books, reports, journals and the web. Six major e-retailers are compared on the basis of monthly traffic data obtained from similarweb.com. It is observed that online retail is a meager 0.5% of overall retail in India and future potential is huge. Due to FDI restrictions all top e-retailers under this study except HS18 prefer marketplace model in pure/hybrid form and earn revenue through transaction fee. Their marketing strategy essentially includes social media and internet. They operate with lean manpower and functional departmentalisation except Flipkart which employs massive 10,000 plus employees and prefers to recruit generalists. National capital region and Bangalore are preferred locations for establishment of their headquarters. This review will be useful to businesses and researchers interested in developing/benchmarking successful e-retail business model to win and sustain competition.
